America's New Big 3: The Tech Titans

America was once known for its "big three" automakers. At one time Ford (F), General Motors (GM), and Chrysler were three of the most powerful companies in the world. Now, they seem to be just shadows of their former selves. Ford was the only company of the three automakers that did not have to be saved by the U.S. government and taxpayer. Even it is much smaller today.

Yes dear reader, America has a new big three. As manufacturing has waned, new industries have taken the lead. The United States is by far a more service based economy. You see, we manufacture less goods and more "clouds" (referring to the internet cloud, that is). We are the technology leaders, and with that comes new leadership companies. Three main companies that are benefiting from, and shaping, our new economy are Apple (AAPL), Amazon (AMZN), and Google (GOOG). Yes, I propose that
